The AVO cigar brand has been producing premium cigars since 1985 and has always been known for beautiful packaging as well as great cigars. Thankfully, the AVO 30 year signature is more of the same from their limited release line.

After Davidoff purchased AVO in 1995 their success continued until the late 2000’s and a full line revamp was introduced in 2015 bringing in a breath of fresh air in both packaging and blends. The result has been a very good core line of cigars as well as some truly excellent limited releases such as the 30-year signature.

Based on the AVO 75th anniversary released in 2001, the 30-year signature comes in three vitolas (robusto, belicoso and double corona) and production of the cigar is capped at 1500 boxes of ten cigars each and retails between 13.50 and 16 dollars.

The AVO 30 year signature is constructed of an Ecuadorian wrapper held together and filled by exquisite Dominican tobaccos. This blend reveals a deeply complex and primarily peppery cigar that consistently changes throughout the time that it is smoked.

Aside from being one of the better cigars I have personally smoked in the last few years, the price point will leave you quite content. At 13.50 for the belicoso size the AVO 30 year signature punches far out of its price range and is easily comparable to the likes of the Padron 1926 series (45th and 46th anniversary) as well as the Davidoff Late Hour and Escurio--all cigars that cost 17 dollars and above.

The AVO 30 year signature is an excellent, complex full-bodied cigar and has quickly become one of our hottest sellers. Pick one up today while supplies last!
