La Flor Dominicana is a boutique cigar brand started by Litto Gomez Diez in 1996 in Santiago, Dominican Republic. The name La Flor Dominicana was inspired by the flower of the tobacco plant which signifies that the growing cycle is complete and the plant is ready for reproduction. La Flor Dominicana produces about 4 million cigars a year and is tightly controlled to keep quality and production at a high and consistent level.
