Founded in 1964, the Padrón Family is vertically integrated to
maintain quality and consistency in everything they do. With factories
in Nicaragua and Honduras, they employ more than 600 people to ensure
they create a great cigar. Their cigars consist of medium to
full-bodied cigars and have several lines to choose from. Padrón is
especially known for their premium lines consisting of the 1964
Anniversary Series and the 1926 Anniversary Series. These hard-to-find
gems are some of the most sought after cigars on the market today.
Every cigar the Padrón Family puts out is available in a natural or a
maduro wrapper.
The Padrón line consists of fifteen medium to full bodied cigars
ranging from Panetelas to a large “A” size Magnum. All the cigars in
the Padrón line are made with sun-grown habano tobacco with a minimum
on two and a half years of age. The Padrón line offers quality,
consistency, and a great taste for the value.
The Padrón 1964 Anniversary Series line was introduced in 1994
to celebrate the Padrón Family's 30th anniversary. The 1964
Anniversary line consists of ten sizes available in natural and maduro
wrappers. The tobacco is aged a minimum of 4 years, creating a smooth
and complex taste. The Padrón 1964 is made is made to honor the Cuban
tradition by being offered as a box press series. It is consistently
ranked at the top year after year by experts in the cigar industry.
The Padrón 1926 Serie line was introduced in 2002 to celebrate Jose O.
Padrón's 75th birthday. The 1926 Serie line consists of seven sizes
available in natural and maduro wrappers. All tobacco in the 1926 is
aged for a full five years. The refined tobacco is blended to create a
complex, smooth, full bodied and incredibly smooth cigar. The 1926
Serie is also offered in the traditional box pressed format. The
Padrón 1926 is limited to 100,000 cigars a year and can be very hard
to find.
