La Flor Dominicana Cigars

La Flor Dominicana is a boutique cigar brand started by Litto Gomez Diez in 1996 in Santiago, Dominican Republic. The name La Flor Dominicana was inspired by the flower of the tobacco plant which signifies that the growing cycle is complete and the plant is ready for reproduction. La Flor Dominicana produces about 4 million cigars a year and is tightly controlled to keep quality and production at a high and consistent level. Litto Gomez employs 73 rollers and grows his tobacco on a 120 acre farm in the Dominican Republic.

The Premium Line was the first blend created by La Flor and consists of Connecticut shade wrapper and Dominican filler and binder. It is an elegantly mild cigar with a good balance of smooth flavors.

The Reserva Especial Line uses an Ecuadorian connecticut seed wrapper with a Piloto Cubano filler and nicaraguan binder. This makes the line very tasty. It is a medium to full bodied taste with intriguing flavors.

The Ligero Line was created after years of aging their estate-grown Ligero tobaccos. This is the first full bodied cigar produced by La Flor Dominicana. The wrapper is Ecuadorian Sumatra with Dominican filler and binder leaves from La Flor's farm. It has an outstanding flavor.

The Double Ligero Line continues in the trend of blending powerful cigars. The cigar has a dark Ecuadorian sun grown leaf and Dominican filler and binder grown on La Flor's farm. This is a very powerful and full bodied cigar.

The Coronado Line was launched in 2006 and is La Flor's first line of cigars using a Habano sun grown wrapper from Nicaragua. The filler is a blend of Dominican Sumatra and Piloto Cubano. The binder is Dominican Corojo. Both are grown on La Flor's farm in La Canela.

The Factory Press III Line features a Connecticut Broadleaf Maduro wrapper this year. Another addition is the Nicaraguan binder. The filler is Dominican and is grown on La Flor's farm in La Canela. The Factory Press III is a fan favorite and has a full bodied taste.

The Limitado III Line is a special edition from La Flor Dominicana. It consists of all Dominican filler grown on Litto's farm. The binder is Nicaraguan and it has an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper. There are only 2000 boxes of this cigar that will be released. The Limitado III is a full bodied cigar that is sure to delight.
