Java is a cigar that is the combined effort of two leaders in the industry, Jonathan Drew of Drew Estate and Rocky Patel. The Java is a cigar that is all about flavor, not strength. Java is a sweet Nicaraguan cigar that has a dark and oily maduro wrapper stretched across an aged blend of Nicaraguan fillers. While these cigars are being aged, they are slowly infused with the delicious flavor of gourmet mocha, transforming a traditional Nicaraguan cigar into an incredibly rich cigar filled with hints of mocha that is smooth from beginning to end leaving a pleasant aroma.

The production of Java begins in the mountains of Esteli, Nicaragua where a new legacy is being forged between old world cuban and modern tobacco pioneers who have sought out the perfect conditions to continue the rich traditions of the past. Drew Estate selects the most beautiful leaves for the Java cigar and then double ferments them while slowly infusing the mocha and cocoa extract to the already smooth blend. They encase each small batch of Java in slotted cedar trays which allows the Spanish Cedar to add a slight wood aroma to a wonderful cigar. The Java is available in 2 wrappers which are the Brazilian Mata-fina and Connecticut Shade. These cigars are also known as the Java and the Latte.

Drew Estate is one of the most unique cigar makers in the business. Using infusions and rare small batch productions allows Drew Estate to make cigars unlike anyone else in the world. Drew Estate is best known for their Acid line, but they have since created hundreds of blends that have almost a cult like following.

Java, one of the more recent cigars made by Drew Estate, is a fantastic infusion. Coffee and cigars have been compliments for a long time, but the Java puts a new twist in the relationship. The Java is a medium bodied blend that has strong espresso notes with hints of chocolate. While having a dominant flavor, the Java still maintains its premium tobacco qualities from its Nicaraguan fillers. Drew Estate has mastered this balance of infused flavors and Nicaraguan tobaccos.

Drew Estate has also released the Java Latte. The Latte uses the same infusion process as the Java, but it is wrapped with an Ecuadorian Connecticut leaf. The Latte has a combination of rich cocoa and espresso, but offers an even smoother, creamier character than the Java.
